Fingermath Basic concepts

Basic concepts
On the right hand, each finger except the thumb is assigned a numerical value. The index finger signifies "one", while the index and middle fingers together represent "two", and all three fingers together indicate "three". All four fingers together signify "four". To represent "five", the thumb is used. When the right thumb is combined with the index finger, the value of "six" is indicated. This is because the thumb represents "five" and adding one finger signifies "plus one", resulting in "five plus one" or six (5+1=6).

The left hand is used to represent the tens digit, and it follows a similar pattern to the right hand, but each value is multiplied by ten. Each finger on the left hand represents "ten", and the left thumb represents "fifty". By using both hands, values between zero and ninety-nine can be represented.
