Request Papal Blessing Parchments

You may request an Apostolic Blessing Parchment either in person at the Office of Papal Charities in Vatican City or online via the official website only:

📍 In-Person at Vatican City

• Enter through Saint Anne’s Gate (right side of St. Peter’s Square colonnade)
• Opening hours:
  • • Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat: 8:30 – 13:30
  • • Tue, Thu: 8:30 – 17:30
• Choose any available template; collect on-site or request postal delivery.

🌐 Online Request Process

1. Choose the occasion (e.g., Baptism, Marriage, Anniversary…)
2. Select a parchment template (including 2 new Jubilee 2025 designs)
3. Enter recipient details (name, occasion, date, church, location)
4. Register or log in; choose delivery: pickup in Vatican (Rome only) or worldwide DHL Express
5. Pay securely by Visa/MasterCard. A confirmation email will be sent.

📋 Required Information

• Full name(s) of person(s) receiving the blessing
• Occasion/reason (must be from the approved list — see below)
• For sacraments/anniversaries: date, church name, and location
• Important timing rule: The event date must be between 4 and 6 months from the request date.
• Delivery address (email & phone with international prefix)

⏱️ Processing & Delivery Time

• Pickup at Vatican: ~15 days (date provided in confirmation email)
• International DHL: ~20 days (tracking number emailed by DHL)

🎯 Valid Occasions

1. Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation (individual only)
2. Marriage
3. Priestly Ordination
4. Religious Profession
5. Ordination of Permanent Deacons
6. Anniversaries (10, 15, 20… up to 80 years) of Marriage*, Ordination, or Profession
7. Birthdays (18, 30, 40, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100–110 years)*

* For anniversaries and birthdays, a “declaration of eligibility” is required — affirming that the recipient(s) are Catholic and actively practicing.

Requests for other occasions cannot be accepted.

📦 Delivery & Contribution

• Parchment contribution: €20–€29 (depending on template)
• DHL shipping fees vary by region (e.g., Asia: €25 for ≤5 parchments)
• ✅ All net proceeds support the Pope’s daily charitable works for the poor.

Email, postal mail, or fax requests are not accepted. Only in-person or online (via the official site) submissions are valid.
